Darryl Rogers provides insight to OSU Knowlton School of Architecture graduate students

For the last few weeks, Darryl has been working with a group of graduate students from The Ohio State University – Knowlton School of Architecture. Darryl is assisting the students with a professional practice course case study on the project RKA completed for Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

Rogers Krajnak Architects Wins Award from Ohio Parks & Recreation Association

The Inniswood Pavilion, designed by Rogers Krajnak Architects for Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, earned an Ohio Parks and Recreation Association 2010 Award of Excellence.  The project won second place in the $0 – $2,500,000 Facility category.  Peter Krajnak accepted the award at the 2011 OPRA Conference and trade Show in Cincinnati and is shown here presenting it to Anne Simpson and Steve Brown of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks.

Rogers Krajnak Architects project wins Platinum Reconstruction Award from Building Design + Construction Magazine

In their October issue, Building Design & Construction Magazine announced that Rogers Krajnak Architects’ renovation of Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s new facility won Platinum, the highest possible designation, as part of the national publication’s 27th annual Reconstruction Awards program. The BD+C Reconstruction Awards are established to identify “the best reconstructed, renovated, or remodeled projects, based on overall design, engineering and project quality.”

Rogers Krajnak Architects receives 2009 Ohio Parks and Recreation Award of Excellence

The Ohio Parks and Recreation Association has awarded Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. and the Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks with a 2009 Award of Excellence for the renovation and expansion of the Whetstone Community Center in Clintonville. The project won a first place “Superior” ranking in its category.

M.J. Design Associates Office named Building of the Year by National Framebuilders Association

Judged against other entries from across the country for qualities such as innovation, design, and creative use of materials, the National Framebuilders Association awarded the M.J. Design Associates Office first place in the category for Post-Frame Commercial Building under 5,000 square feet in its annual Building of the Year Contest.
