LIFELINE OF OHIO DONOR MEMORIAL WALL
Columbus, OH
<< Back to Project List
Lifeline of Ohio commissioned Rogers Krajnak Architects to design the revisions to the existing Donor Memorial Wall which is located in the garden just north of Lifeline of Ohio's building. As part of the preparations for Donate Life Month, the wall is retrofitted with special hooks that allow visitors to place blue and green cards on the wall to commemorate loved ones that have donated or received organ and tissue transplants. The cards form curvilinear ribbons along the curved concrete wall representing the connections made between donors and recipients. A new "Lifeline of Ohio" logo is installed along with a container for additional cards. This allows visitors to fill out cards and hang them on the wall any time of the day or night.
