Columbus, OH
<< Back to Project List
This project involved the conversion of a 1980’s Columbus Metropolitan Library building into a state of the art, open plan, general practice dental office. Characteristics of the design solution included a clear and understandable circulation pattern, use of daylight throughout the space, and a simple material palette accented with custom detailing. The space is highlighted by a 35-foot high central atrium space where a patient’s visit to the office begins and ends. The clerestory windows at the atrium flood the center of the office with sunlight. The curvilinear form of the walls, soffits, counter, and flooring patterns guide a patient from the waiting area to the treatment rooms.
