COMMUNITY PAVILION
Columbus, OH
<< Back to Project List
Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. completed the Conceptual Design for a 7,000 square foot pavilion that is designed to replace two aging storage and restroom structures at an existing community center. The new building will accommodate a day camp, children's presentations and art workshops. The design of the structure includes broad sheltering porches to provide shaded locations for crafts and small gatherings. The Great Room includes a platform for dramatic performances, an art area, adjacent staff areas and storage rooms. The new lobby areas lead to accessible restrooms, changing areas and the new outdoor playground. Exterior panels will accommodate murals representing each year's camp themes painted by the children.
