The site improvements to this accountant’s office improve safety; provide accessibility to the business for the elderly and disabled; and improve the appearance of the public entry to this bungalow-style building and former residence in Grove City’s Historic Preservation Area.
The project provides a new brick and limestone porch with wood and steel railing; an ADA compliant concrete ramp and stair; and a clay paver accented parking area that accommodates two parking spaces and a tight but manageable turn-around space aligning with the existing curb cut. New photocell and timer-controlled light fixtures are integrated into the slab and walls of the porch to provide subtle accent to the building, illuminate the stair and ramp, and line the walkway to the public sidewalk and parking area.
