Broad Street Methodist Church
Columbus, OH
<< Back to Project List
Rogers Krajnak Architects designed the Inn at Broad in the former fellowship hall below the gymnasium in this historic church. Consisting of three residential apartments, a shared kitchen, study and play area, the Inn at Broad is home to three formerly homeless families. The project included a new hydraulic elevator and upgrades to the mechanical system, electrical system, and associated architectural finishes. The project was constructed in part by Americorps, a volunteer work force, which reduced the overall cost of the project. Located in downtown Columbus, this historic structure was also in need of significant repair to its roof and exterior stone bearing walls. The roofing project is now complete, the exterior stone wall replacement is part of future phases of work.
