Darryl is a Principal and co-founder of Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. Darryl graduated from the Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Ohio, the State of Kansas, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and is NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) Certified. As a firm Principal he guides the firm’s project delivery process and oversees the business management of the practice. His expertise is in facilities and code analysis, architectural design, team management, and the technical aspects of the architectural practice. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Darryl is leading the firm’s efforts towards creating projects with sustainable design features and LEED Certification. Darryl’s strong emphasis on providing mentoring and continuing education for RKA staff was recognized when the firm received the 2006 National AIA award for Excellence in Professional Continuing Education. In 2007, he was selected by the national publication Building Design+Construction, as part of their "40 Under 40" list of emerging leaders in the AEC industry. He was also selected for the Columbus Business First "40 Under 40" list in 2006. Darryl is actively involved in the Columbus community and is part of many organizations, including having formerly served on the Boards of the Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce and Camp Mary Orton. After hours you are likely to find Darryl in attendance at one of his children’s activities, coaching youth soccer, passionately supporting Columbus Crew SC, or biking on the Alum Creek Trail.
