This project provides major updates to a 1950's home located at the Overbrook Ravine in Clintonville. The stunning site is heavily wooded and slopes over 50' from the front to the rear. The remodeling project achieves three goals; 1) Provide the interior spaces with more views to the natural setting of the site. 2) To open up the interior spaces to each other and create a contemporary setting for the owner's modern art collection. 3) Transform the nondescript exterior into a visually interesting modern design. The project scope includes a redesigned Kitchen, a Dinette addition with panoramic views, new wrap-around screened porch, and a new exposed truss and wood deck roof structure in the Great Room. The use of galvanized metal roofing, colorful corrugated metal siding, and new expansive windows transform the exterior of the home.
