The project consists of a renovation and addition to an existing general practice dental office in historic German Village. The building is characteristic of brick cottages built by German immigrants in the late 1800's throughout this historic district. The project addresses three major issues; creating a more open, free-flowing configuration for the office, a new operatory located in an addition to the historic structure, and updating the finishes throughout the office. The remodeled reception/waiting area includes a new custom designed reception counter and ADA compliant toilet room. The office will also be outfitted with new dental equipment. The project scope also includes restoration of brick and required structural upgrades to the walls, foundation, and floor structure. The completed office includes updates for today's dental practice function and technology while celebrating the historic structure the office occupies.
