Postle Hall is the home of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. The College of Dentistry is the third largest public dental school in the United States. Postle Hall is located near the Ohio State Medical Center. The original building was designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill. Along with academic programs, the facility also hosts a dental clinic and research activities. Our project focused on upgrading the existing, antiquated elevators that serve the facility. Along with new operating and control equipment and finishes, the project also provides some new safety features and code upgrades. This will be the first comprehensive elevator upgrade in the facility since it was originally built in the 1950s. The building remained fully operational during the construction period based on Rogers Krajnak Architects’ construction phasing plan.
